Come one, come all, bring a friend. Friday June 8, 4pm to sunset the Siuslaw Chapter of Surfrider Foundation will have a Love Your Beach casual gathering at the South Jetty of the Siuslaw River in honor of World Oceans Day! Hot dogs and fixin's will be provided; bring your own beverages and food to share. Bring beach toys, surf toys, kites etc. Prizes will be awarded for coolest kite, worst wipeout, most pieces of plastic picked up in 5 minutes, and many more stellar challenges. A special invitation is extended to our members and friends who aren't local or don't make it to our regular 1st Wednesday evening meetings as well as anyone else that loves our beach. This is a family friendly gathering, please join us by the bonfire. Surfrider Foundation is dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of oceans, waves and beaches, this is a day for enjoyment and appreciation of our oceans, waves and beaches.
