Join us this Saturday, December 21st from 9:30am-noon for a cleanup of the lovely and remote North Umpqua Recreational areas at Sparrow Park Road (Hwy 101 milepost 207). This remote beach has been accumulating debris all summer and fall, and with the winter weather coming we want to get that debris out of there before the high water events drag it back offshore again. We'll be meeting at the end of Sparrow Park Road for shuttling to the beach and back. Sparrow Park Road can be found at milepost 207. Head west on Sparrow Park Rd. to meeting location. Dress for weather, bring along sturdy shoes (boots recommended), water bottle and work gloves if you have them. Bringing along five gallon buckets can also be really handy for carrying and compiling the little things. Bags and limited gloves provided. Questions or more information, contact oregon@surfrider.org.
