On 06/23, 28 members and volunteers of the Siuslaw Chapter of Surfrider Foundation cleaned up nearly 1,200 pounds of debris from the Siltcoos Outlet beach area. These photos really demonstrate the type of debris that we're seeing from the tsunami event in Japan last March - foam/polystyrene, lumber, bottles and containers and just about anything that floats high off the water. Massive kudos to all our volunteers who pitched in and are helping keep our beaches clean!
