Come on friends and join us for our summer beach cleanup at the beautiful Siltcoos Outlet on Saturday, June 23rd 10:00 a.m. to noon.
Siltcoos Beach is located 8 miles south of Florence, turn right on Siltcoos Beach Access Rd. and we'll be in the parking lot with cleanup supplies. Bring your own if you please!
Siltcoos outlet lies at the mouth of the Siltcoos River where it flows into the Pacific Ocean. It is unique here because there are no maintained jetties or channels, and is considered a natural estuary. This undeveloped habitat area is also known for its many species of birds that nest and frequent here. So bring your binoculars because the birds are abound here!
