Join Surfrider, SOLVE and Ninkasi at the Florence South Jetty Saturday, September 19th from 10 AM – 3 PM for the fall beach cleanup and an informal, family friendly beach BBQ with bocce ball and corn hole after! Beer provided by our friends at Ninkasi! and kombucha provided by Townshend's Brew Dr. Kombucha! This event is part of the annual Beach & Riverside Cleanup and the International Coastal Cleanup, a world-wide effort to keep our beaches healthy and reduce the impacts to marine life.
Dress for rain or shine and wear sturdy shoes. We'll provide bags and gloves. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own reusable bucket/bag and water bottle to help reduce plastic waste. Bring a reusable cup for beverages, a side dish
Don’t forget about the small stuff! The #1 items found on Oregon beaches are tiny bits of plastic and cigarette butts, which are harmful to shore birds and marine life.

Beach Party: 1pm - 3ish - South Beach Jetty river mouth - Look for the Surfrider flag
Food / Drink: Potluck sytle - Beer provided by Ninkasi Brewing Company, Kombucha from Townshend's Brew Dr. Kombucha and hot dogs and veggie dogs provided by the chapter, please bring a snack or side dish and reusable cup for beverages!
